Support Our WorkHealth News Florida (HNF) is a not-for-profit journalistic enterprise created to inform the public on national, state and local health issues. Health News Florida posts health-related stories reported around the state, highlights the Florida impact of national stories, and tracks state health legislation. As financially struggling newspapers shrink coverage of health issues, HNF has filled the gap delivering news to our eAlert subscribers, Twitter followers and via posts on our website. Even though HNF is a non-profit, we have expenses like any other business. It costs a lot to get top-quality coverage of a subject as complex as the health-care system. We must pay our reporters, editors and other staff to provide our services. We hope that you will support us so we can continue to provide quality health-news reporting! If you appreciate HNF’s insightful reporting, please support us! We have a variety of ways to support HNF! 1. Advertise with HNF! You can reach a highly targeted audience of influencers, from health-care industry leaders and policy makers to health-care advocates and journalists. Health News Florida is the vehicle you need for the news they read. Learn more about advertising opportunities that can in increase your exposure in one of the state's most coveted business markets by requesting a media kit. Or you can call Mary Frederick for a no-cost personalized needs analysis at 850-933-9993. 2. Donate to HNF! Health News Florida welcomes major underwriters who share our mission of providing free and timely access to news, analysis and information at a time when newsrooms across the state are shedding staff and reducing coverage of critical health-care issues. Your tax-deductible donation will help us continue to expand original reporting. Learn more about major underwriting opportunities by contacting Mary Frederick, marketing director. We welcome smaller donations too! Please help us by making a tax-deductible donation to our fiscal agent, the Health Foundation of South Florida, earmarked for Health News Florida. You can mail your check, earmarked for Health News Florida, to Health Foundation of South Florida 3. Sign up for our eAlerts and refer a friend! Our grants impose strict goals to increasing our readership. We urge those who follow us as a ?favorite? or through Twitter or RSS to convert to a subscriber status so that we can count them.
