New health law finally gets an acronym: ACA

It's been awkward writing about the new health-coverage act that Pres. Obama signed into law last month because of its impossibly long name: the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act, as amended by the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act.

Now the feds have issued a note saying the two acts should be referred to as the “Affordable Care Act.”  So we can call it the ACA.

I wonder how long it will take for that to catch on.
