Pat Curtis, Tallahassee

Pat Curtis guided the initial development of Health News Florida and served as managing editor during its first nine months in operation.

Pat began her communications career as a newspaper reporter in South Florida and Tallahassee. She has since been assistant public affairs coordinator for the Florida Attorney General’s Office; press secretary for a Florida gubernatorial campaign; and communications coordinator and senior policy analyst for the Florida Council for Community Mental Health.

Curtis is now a communications consultant, specializing in behavioral healthcare issues and website content management.
